I have learned so much in this class thanks to Susan’s expertise as a guide and facilitator. I am so much more aware of the possibilities that are out there and they are becoming part of my learning and teaching repertoire. The greatest thing I have gotten out of this class is
something that I have thrown away. I have thrown away any fear I had of computers or of cell phones or of technology in general.
When you consider the fact that I am 56 years of age and did totally NOT grow up in the digital age that is pretty amazing.
I read somewhere long ago that the more you learn, the more aware you are of what you don’t know. I knew I was not tech savvy
at all but I did a little of this and a little of that. When I saw some of what is actually out there in cyberspace that I can access, use,
or just play with it was mind boggling. I do have one important question. How do I , on my own, stay current and aware of the different sites that are constantly coming available?
The other terrific thing I learned is that if I want to learn how some program or application works I just have to jump in with both feet
and try, and fail, and try again. It just takes time and determination and, sometimes, a little help from my friends.
